Some Miles into the journey

So continuing from where I left off...........
I had not known much about blogging since the time when it began.I knew my friends and some of the people I knew were into it but as I said I didn’t agree with the concept.
Blogging first caught my eye when I had heard on the news that the great Mr.Amitabh Bachchan was getting into it “to feel closer to his fans and have a direct connect with them”.I put this in quotes because my perception of a celebrity getting into the public forum can solely and only mean one thing which is not this reason.
Nonetheless I thought this would bring about a revolution which it did later on when every celebrity I know joined an unknown commodity called Twitter and the word tweet not only became a patent but a medium of business fun pleasure and so on.
When my friend asked me to start blogging I asked him what would give my blog the edge.
Why would people read only my blog when they have so many and I reiterate so many options?
This friend of mine is very close and weve been thus since we were in the 6th standard.Ive always been very sarcastic in my conversations with him and vice versa and he told me that this very taste would give my blog the edge.
I laid a whole night on my bed with the light switched off but my eyes and memory wide open thinking firstly whether i should get into it and secondly if I do will people be interested in what I have to offer.
Frankly speaking I am also a money-minded person.I always love the power that money can provide anybody and i had heard in many places that people earn through writing blogs about which I also enquired my friend.
Since my vacations are on and I had not much to do I thought to myself-Lets give it a shot,I have nothing to lose from it and maybe a lot to gain from it.
I recently saw the website of the renowned bollywood actor Kareena Kapoor. She happens to be my favourite female actor. When I saw it in the news that she had joined the bandwagon of actors that are using the internet as a medium for “interacting” with the fans I had to see it for myself.
I was thrilled at the prospect of talking to the actor through our comments but a warning was mentioned that she would just read everyone’s comments but not reply to anyone’s.
I tried my hand at it but it disappointed me to an extent because I knew how misleading these interactions would be.
How would I know whether she would actually read what I had written.I tried to give a witty comment which I hope will give me a reply and I keep my fingers crossed at this point too.
It just thrills me how a simple blog can be so powerful.I am thankful to the people who have become my followers and hope not to disappoint them.
The blog has well and truly arrived and despite the opposition I am sure that it is here to stay.
I shall reveal who I am in my next phase.
Until then have a nice day and sayonara!!!!!!!

MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP

Blogging-The concept has been existing for quite some time now.My friend tells me it has survived for 8 years now and according to my opinion is continuing ever so strongly.
The marvel of this generation that even an 8 year period is considered as if it were during the dark ages both surprises and enthrals me.At a time when split second decisions are taken, people are losing out on a social basis.Long hours of work is the norm of most of the rising middle class and higher middle class people of our great country-India.As a result the internet, social networking like facebook orkut hi5 have taken so much relevance.
In my opinion this is quite a paradox-on one hand I haven’t spoken to my neighbour in months whereas I am trying to gather friends around the world and want to know about them.I had once written this also in an essay during my English language exams to which my teacher had commented that this was something that everyone should give a thought to.
Blogging was a term that confused me first conceptually.
Regarding conceptually, the one thought that crossed my mind always when somebody told me that they were blogging was-Why do you do it?
Dont people anyway have enough on their mind that they would want to read somebody elses experiences on a day to day basis?
Doesnt the man of the house need to think-Kya Thakur sahib mere presentation se khush honge?
Doesnt the woman of the house need to see “Pavitra Rishta” and what happened to the protagonist’s family?
Doesnt the son need to think-The girl i met in college was quite hot and I want to spend more time with her.
Doesnt the daughter need to think-This assignment needs to get over by tomorrow. How will I do it by not missing dance classes?
I believe most of us see this today but even then we like to know what happens in others lives. This surprised me and still I do not have an answer.
Most probable would be that during our short life we get only one chance to do what is necessary or correct or just down right fun and by reading what others have done in a similar situation we can know how or how not to react to a given circumstance!!!!
One more thing is what made me think-what does a blogger think while hes writing a blog?
What does one expect from a blog?
The only answer is-the thing Im experiencing right now.
My special friend told me to start as soon as possible to which i gave a big thought and after thinking about it for a whole night thus comprising my sleep here I am putting up my very own blog-
MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP
I hope to see many people following my experiences after which I shall reveal who I am and what I go through on a day to day basis.
Thank you and God bless.
